The 3.0 HPI / HPT engines used in the Daily are among the quietest and most powerful in the light commercial category. Twin-camshaft and 16-valve technology combined with common rail direct fuel injection to maximise power output and minimise emissions, lowering ambient in-cab noise levels by as much as 30 per cent.
In the 3.0 HPT version, IVECO's variable geometry turbocharger takes power to a class-leading 176hp, while 400Nm of torque is delivered from as low as 1250rpm. The 3.0 HPI version uses a wastegated turbocharger to produce 146hp, while the maximum torque of 350Nm is available between 1400rpm and 2600rpm.
